Model "Wallis" – an exquisite lace-up jacket.
The garment is made of unbleached cotton with a silk lining, making the jacket especially comfortable to wear.
A concealed zipper in the front allows for easy removal and wearing, and thanks to the elegant lacing at the back and metal corset guides, the tightness can be adjusted and the jacket can be made even more fitted.
Outer seams and raw edges are a bright accent of the model, adding relaxation and creating a vintage effect. The garment reveals the most beautiful parts of the female body – the shoulders and clavicles, and the long sleeves make the look especially refined and delicate.
The jacket fits perfectly into everyday outfits, but when paired with a skirt, it creates a memorable evening ensemble.
The inspiration for creating this model was Wallis Simpson – the woman for whom Edward VIII abdicated the British throne for love. This twice-married American, without outstanding external data, thanks to her intelligence, charisma, and impeccable taste, managed to break into British high society and captivate the future king. A lover of expensive jewelry and exquisite dresses, she shone at lavish receptions, which she loved to organize. She was a real star and an icon of London's high society style. The Duchess was not afraid to experiment with style, but always preferred dresses and full skirts that emphasized her waist. She wore heels and had high hairstyles to showcase her beautiful neck and shoulders, and valued naturalness in her makeup. In the "Wallis" jacket, we tried to convey the fragility, grace, and femininity of the duchess.
